Kondinin Primary School aims to create a caring, positive environment where the rights and responsibilities of the individual are recognised and respected. This includes students, staff and members of the school community.
Our school has a Positive Behaviour Support plan which focuses on positive behaviour, and the management of behaviour issues using constructive and consistent strategies. Our whole school approach encourages positive choices, reflection on behaviour, and restorative practices. It displays clear consequences for both positive and negative behaviours.
Students, parents/carers and staff will be provided with a copy of this plan at the beginning of each year to review, sign and return to school, to demonstrate an understanding of the rights and responsibilities of each member of the school community.
Each class also develops their own set of rules and a clear set of consistent consequences, in line with the whole school plan. This will be provided for parents at the commencement of the year.
