SCHOOL NURSE - Tracey Abraham

Our school nurse, visits the school fortnightly. Screening procedures are undertaken for all Kindergarten students and referrals can be made through the Administration Office.

CHAPLAIN

Employed by YouthCare to provide ‘in-school pastoral care’ to the whole school community.  Chaplains work on being a positive influence in the school and helping wherever we can.  Here at KPS Our Chaplain, Felicity Ward will endeavour to support, empower and encourage our students to be the best they can be, and to live happy and healthy lives.  Chaplains care about the social, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing of students, families, staff and the whole school community.

To make an appointment for yourself, or your student, please feel free to contact the school on 9894 0200.

All discussions are confidential and are carried out with a professional and nonjudgmental approach; I am here to support you and your family.  If you see me around the school, or in the community, please don’t hesitate to approach me and introduce yourself.

THE RESILIENCE PROJECT

Delivers emotionally engaging programs to schools, providing practical, evidence-based mental health strategies to build resilience and happiness. Through presentations, school curriculum, events, the TRP App, and Wellbeing Journals, we share the benefits of GratitudeEmpathy and Mindfulness, and easy ways to practise these in everyday life. We also incorporate Emotional LiteracyConnection and Physical Health education and activities as they are foundational contributors to positive mental health.
